Today marks the start of Advent, the expantant season for celebrating the coming of  Jesus during Christmas.

It is a time not only of partying but most importantly prayers, pennace and renewal.

Last night, we put up lights in the vine in the entrace to our house. The little Christmas lights brought brightness in our gate area to help see the children who frequents are house to sing Christmas carols.

One of the many symbols used to celebrate advent and Christmas is this wreath, the photo taken from wikipedia.  And it says Many churches make use of Advent wreaths during this season, with one candle representing each of the four Sundays of Advent. The rose candle is lit on the 3rd Sunday of Advent. During Christmas Day four white candles are used.

May each candle represent Peace, Love, Forgiveness and Hope in this Yuletide Season.
